Not to call in the grammar police, but, yes, it would seem logical for "biodiverse" to be a word, though biodiversity isn't
actually a word by traditional terms, its a portmanteau of "biology" and "diversity". In addition to this, I think it is fair to say that the reason "biodiversity" is largely accepted as a true word is due to its "buzz-word" reputation, which has elevated its status through the use of media, government, business, etc, etc.
(Perhaps we could start using the word "biodiverse" from here on in and see if we can get recognition has having coined the variation of this term; maybe even starting our own wikipedia page stating that we coined it? haha Ok, I'll stop now... god I need to get my DFO account...)
