Hi all.

I have read about the prices of some things and how much the Df currency is worth.

When you kill a goblin, for example, you may pick up his weapon, lets say... a low quality sword. At the general store this sword will sell for about 2 gold. Things like arrows and food sell for 1. A smithing hammer used for crafting is 100 gold. The prices are similar to a game called Runescape. If a goblin drops a sword, bow, shield, and arrows, along with other misc. loot, you're going to get around 20 gold from the goblin in total.

So clans costing 2k gold to buy a charter shouldn't take too long if you have a fair amount of people in your clan.

Wow, nice info! Where did you find this? For those of us who played games with copper/silver/gold, its going to take some getting used to only having gold I think! A guild charter in WoW is 1g!

Also, welcome Rhys! Thank you for your support on your forums! Nice to have another member of Harlequin with us (and another from the Oceania region!) :D

Sorry, I can't tell you the source. NDA. :(

Yeah, it will be a big jump from WoW, but tbh I never used silver, and definitely not copper. Thanks for the welcome, expect to see me here more often. :)

Each of the buildings in a clan city is made up from various building block thingys (forget the term my source told me they were called)
The building block things are also around 250g and 50 stone/20 boards (50 timber) each.

also gave me some more info on the city structures as well.

Clan Bank
10 Building Blocks (2.500g)

Work Bench (for construction/carpentry/tailoring)
10 Building Blocks (2.500g)

Clan General Store
10 Building Modules (2.500g)

Placing a bank allows the following to be built.
House x3 (each house adds +10 people that can bind in a city, starts at 20 souls.)
10 Building Blocks (2.500g each)

Keep
50 Building Blocks (125.000g)

There is also civic buildings like docks, smithy, alchemist shop, walls but source did not or was not able to tell me the requirments for these.

Once the clan is created, there is a clan bank available at any bank to members of X rank in the clan. The purpose of building a vault at the clan stone is to access your personial vault or the clan vault from the city itself. It is NOT for creating a clan shared vault.

There are also tool chests and weapons lockers scattered around the world that have weapons or tools randomly in them, seems more of them develop as a city has more buildings in it.

currently right now the only viable source for gold is pve hunting or pvp hunting the pve people out "farming" gold. harvesting resouces sell for 1 gold per ten. in the time that you mine 10 stone/metal/wood/fish/herbs to make 1 gold, you could have killed a few goblins for roughly 60 gold.

Which means that hunting is the only real source for income.. This is both good and bad. Good for long term stability but bad because well it will take the smaller sized clans ages to just get up a few buildings in their hamlets/cities.

If you in a war dec with another clan though you can fight your enemies anywhere they are, even in the starting cities with no reprocussions beside being able to be attacked back.

Now this is all what i remember from my source, not learned first hand.. and its all subject to change at any point due to well Agon still being in testing and not released.

Great post thanks. I have been dying to know how much it takes to get the structures going. What did you mean by "20 boards,(50 Timber)"? Does that mean it takes 70 wood or to get 20 boards it takes 50 timber and it requires 20 boards. Sorry just a little confused there. Also what is the difference between a building block and a module?

Thanks again for the info, that is good stuff!

So when you go chop down a tree you're harvesting units of timber. But timber by itself isn't usable, first you have to turn it into wood (boards would be a better term for sure.) So you take a saw over to a work bench and convert 5 units of timber into 2 units of wood. The same process applies to mining ore. You take 5 units of ore over to a smelter and with your tongs(? not in game at the moment and I'm blanking) and turn it into 2 iron ingots.

I believe stone which is harvested from rocks is directly usable for city building (and the few weapons i've seen that use it.)

Let me comment on this. PvE is definitely a fantastic way to make money but you can make money harvesting so long as you sell to other players. Its true a NPC will only give you 1 gold for a stack of 10 ore, but I've seen players offering to buy ore at 2g a unit and timber at 1.5g a unit often enough. Personally i like that selling to NPC's is pretty worthless, it promotes lots of trade and a vibrant economy.

Is there any more info on buildings that you can make and how many building block it cost to make? What about walls? And what is need to make a weaponsmith to a advance weaponsmith. Thanks in advance.
